FIBULAroma was founded in 1980. From the start it has been characterized by the particular attention dedicated to the manufacturing of necklace fasteners, a product often overlooked. The choice of the name , FIBULAroma, was based on the following historical "jewel" : The term Fibula was first used to represent the fragments of animal or whale bone used by Neolithic peoples to fasten their clothing ; it is also used to represent the finely decorated gold fasteners worn by the Senators and ruling class of Imperial Rome.

The companies strategy has always been: the production of unique pieces, with particular attention paid to their creation even down to the smallest details. Designs that bring to mind everything from Tribal to Etruscan, Roman and South-American jewelry. In addition to the fibulas (necklace fasteners ), FIBULAroma produces earrings, rings, bracelets, pendants and broaches, all of which are decorated with semi-precious or precious stones elegantly blended with other materials. The Gold used in the creation of our jewelry is also unique; characterized by a green hue - that some have named "crazy gold"- which renders the jewelry immediately recognizable as a FIBULAroma product .

FIBULAroma continues to directly manage the distribution of its products, carefully selecting the area distributors, continuously offering them new and fashionable collections while maintaining high standards of quality. The lines offered by FIBULAroma have had great success in foreign markets, especially in the United States, Arab countries and Japan.
